STATE of Missouri, Respondent, v. Paulo Cesar MEJIA, Appellant.
ORDER
Paulo Mejia was convicted by a jury on two counts of second-degree domestic assault under § 565.073, RSMo Cum. Supp. 2012, for attacking his ex-girlfriend in Columbia in September 2015. Mejia appeals. He argues that the circuit court erred in admitting evidence that he had assaulted the victim in a separate incident nine days before the offenses at issue here. He also argues that the circuit court erred by refusing to strike for cause a member of the jury venire who purportedly expressed partiality in favor of police officer testimony. We affirm. Because a published opinion would have no precedential value, we have provided an unpublished memorandum to the parties which sets forth the reasons for this order. Rule 30.25(b).
