Falonzo DAVIS, Appellant, v. STATE of Missouri, Respondent.
ORDER
Following a jury trial, Falonzo Davis was found guilty of second-degree murder under § 565.021, RSMo 2000, and armed criminal action under § 571.015, RSMo 2000, in connection with the shooting death of Steven Jones. Davis appealed his convictions and sentences, and this Court affirmed. See State v. Davis, 495 S.W.3d 830 (Mo. App. W.D. 2016) (per curiam). Davis then filed a motion to vacate, set aside, or correct his judgment or sentence pursuant to Rule 29.15 in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri. Davis argued that he received ineffective assistance of counsel at trial because his counsel failed to proffer certain mitigating testimony during his sentencing. The circuit court denied Davis’s motion for post-conviction relief, and he appeals. We affirm. Because a published opinion would have no precedential import, we have provided the parties an unpublished memorandum. Rule 84.16(b).
