The ESTATE OF George J. JANSEN, et al., Appellants, v. VALMONT INDUSTRIES, INC., et al., Respondents.
Order
The estate of George J. Jansen, by and through his personal representative Emily Jansen, and Emily, Allison, Anne, and George M. Jansen, in their individual capacities (collectively, the Jansens), appeal the award of summary judgment in favor of Valmont Industries, Inc. (Valmont) and Valmont Highway Distribution Limited (VHDL) for lack of specific personal jurisdiction. In their sole point on appeal, the Jansens claim that Valmont and VHDL are not entitled to summary judgment because they maintain sufficient minimum contacts with Missouri insofar as they targeted Missouri with their roadside safety products and the Jansens’ claims arise out of or are related to those contacts; thus, the court has specific personal jurisdiction over Valmont and VHDL. Finding no error, we affirm. Rule 84.16(b).
