David M. PAINE, Appellant, v. STATE of Missouri, Respondent.
ORDER
Following a jury trial in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, David Paine was convicted of unlawful use of a weapon, based on an incident in which Paine pointed a handgun at the head of another person during an angry confrontation. Paine claimed at trial that the victim had an object in his hand which Paine feared was a weapon, and that Paine had brandished his handgun in self-defense. After this Court affirmed Paine's conviction on direct appeal, he filed a motion for post-conviction relief under Supreme Court Rule 29.15. The circuit court denied relief following an evidentiary hearing. Paine appeals. He contends that his trial counsel was ineffective for failing to obtain, and offer into evidence, recordings from a body camera Paine was wearing at the time of the underlying incident. We affirm. Because a published opinion would have no precedential value, we have provided the parties with an unpublished memorandum setting forth the reasons for this order. Rule 84.16(b).
