STATE of Louisiana v. Azemore JOSEPH
Writ application granted. See per curiam.
We grant the State's writ application and reverse the trial court's pretrial ruling, only to the extent it excluded recorded phone calls made by defendant while jailed from use as possible impeachment evidence in the event that defendant testifies at trial. See generally State v. Strickland, 398 So. 2d 1062 (La. 1981); see also State v. Hartford, 2014-0643 (La. App. 4 Cir. 3/18/15), 162 So. 3d 1202.
