KUSAI ABDELQADER v. RAMON RAMOS, JR., DELISHA BOYD, LLC, DELISHA YOUNG BOYD, AND KRISTEN L. YOUNG-BOYD
GENOVESE, J., would grant this writ in part, and deny it in part.
I would grant this writ solely for the purpose of remanding this case to the court of appeal to determine the amount of the award of attorney fees on appeal and not the city court. When the court of appeal awards additional attorney fees for appellate work, it is for the court of appeal to make that award – and not the city court. In all other respects, I would deny this writ.
