Writ application denied.
I concur in the denial of the writ. However, I write separately to express my agreement with Judge Cooks to the extent that the UCCJEA and all of its provisions are mandatory in matters of child custody and jurisdiction. The trial court was required by La. R.S. 13:1818(B) to communicate with the Texas court which did its part in staying its proceeding, made several attempts to contact the trial court, and was unfortunately ignored. As observed by Judge Cooks, we owe the same respect to Texas courts that we would expect them to show Louisiana courts.
