STATE of Louisiana v. Charles SPEARS
Writ application transferred to the court of appeal. See per curiam.
WRIT APPLICATION TRANSFERRED to the court of appeal. Though applicant was initially convicted and sentenced prior to 1982, he subsequently obtained federal habeas corpus relief and, as a result, was retried, convicted, and sentenced in 1986. See State v. Spears, 525 So.2d 329 (La. App. 1 Cir. 1988), writ denied, 532 So.2d 175 (La. 1988). As such, the court of appeal has supervisory jurisdiction over this application. La. Const. art. V, § 10.
