IN RE: Jerry L. SETTLE
Joint petition for consent discipline accepted. See per curiam.
ATTORNEY DISCIPLINARY PROCEEDING
Respondent and the Office of Disciplinary Counsel submitted a joint petition for consent discipline, in which respondent acknowledges that he violated Rule 1.15(a) (a lawyer shall hold property of clients or third persons that is in a lawyer's possession in connection with a representation separate from the lawyer's own property) of the Rules of Professional Conduct. Having reviewed the petition,
IT IS ORDERED that the Petition for Consent Discipline be accepted and that Jerry L. Settle, Louisiana Bar Roll number 28856, be adjudged guilty of additional violations which warrant discipline and which may be considered in the event he applies for reinstatement from his suspension in In re: Settle, 19-1874 (La. 2/10/20), 289 So. 3d 49, after becoming eligible to do so.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that all costs and expenses in the matter are assessed against respondent in accordance with Supreme Court Rule XIX, § 10.1, with legal interest to commence thirty days from the date of finality of this court's judgment until paid.
