Granted. Under the facts of this case, there is no basis for Louisiana to exercise either general or specific personal jurisdiction over relator. See Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. v. Superior Court of California, San Francisco Cty., ––– U.S. ––––, 137 S. Ct. 1773, 198 L. Ed 2d 395 (2017); Daimler AG v. Bauman, 571 U.S. 117, 134 S. Ct. 746, 748, 187 L. Ed. 2d 624 (2014); Goodyear Dunlop Tires Operations, S.A. v. Brown, 564 U.S. 915, 131 S. Ct. 2846, 180 L.Ed. 2d 796 (2011).
Accordingly, the judgment of the district court is reversed. The declinatory exception raising the objection of lack of personal jurisdiction is sustained, and plaintiff's action against relator, Bayerische Motoren Werke AG, is dismissed with prejudice.
