Callen L. DEMPSTER a/k/a Callen L. Dempster, Sr. v. GENERAL ELECTRIC COMPANY
Writ application denied.
In light of the impending trial date of January 13, 2020, I agree with the majority to deny this matter at this juncture. However, I write separately to emphasize that notwithstanding the Court's denial, defendant General Electric Company will have an adequate remedy on appeal. Not only will the case benefit from a full record at that point, the lower courts may find guidance in this Court's pending decision in Gistarve Joseph, Sr., et al. vs. Huntington Ingalls Incorporated, et al., writ granted, 18-2061 (La. 10/15/19), 280 So.3d 596.
CRICHTON, J., additionally concurs and assigns reasons Genovese, J., would grant. Crain, J., would grant.
