ON WRIT OF CERTIORARI TO THE COURT OF APPEAL, THIRD CIRCUIT, PARISH OF CALCASIEU
Writ denied.
In my view, the trial court did not abuse its discretion in dismissing a juror pursuant to La. C.Cr.P. art. 796 and under unique circumstances presented. Accordingly, I would grant the State's writ application, reverse the court of appeal, reinstating the jury verdict sentence imposed by the trial court.
