ON SUPERVISORY WRITS TO THE CRIMINAL DISTRICT COURT FOR THE PARISH OF ORLEANS
Writ denied.
Respectfully, the investigating officer received an email from another detective stating, “Gun on victim had five murders connected to it. Bystanders attempted to remove weapon but police arrived too soon. Victim killed someone near University Hospital last week.”
This email should have been immediately provided to the defense.
HUGHES, J., would grant and assigns reasons.
