STATE EX REL. RANDALL CHAD THOMPSON v. STATE OF LOUISIANA

The amendment by the state of the date of offense six days before trial from a single date to a two year window, under any standard one might wish to apply, provided valid grounds for a continuance. It is the duty of the prosecution, not to win the case, but to seek the truth.
