IN RE: COMMITTEE ON BAR ADMISSIONS CFN-671073
BAR ADMISSIONS PROCEEDING
Motion for waiver granted. This matter is remanded to the Committee on Bar Admissions for an updated character and fitness investigation and for re-certification for admission if appropriate.
I agree a waiver of the five-year limitation on the bar exam score is appropriate in this case and that petitioner must submit to an updated character and fitness investigation. However, I would also require that petitioner earn 12.5 additional hours of Continuing Legal Education in matters related to the law of Louisiana as a condition to future admission.
PER CURIAM
Weimer, C.J., concurs in part and dissents in part and assigns reasons. Hughes, J., would grant admission.
