PER CURIAM:
Writ granted. The district court's denial of applicant's motion to correct an illegal sentence is reversed, and the life sentence imposed under R.S. 15:529.1(A)(1)(b)(ii) is hereby vacated. We remand to the district court for resentencing as directed by R.S. 15:308(B), and in accord with State ex rel. Esteen v. State, 2016-0949 (La. 1/30/18), 239 So.3d 233.
