ON SUPERVISORY WRITS TO THE CRIMINAL DISTRICT COURT, PARISH OF ORLEANS

PER CURIAM:

Granted. As this Court previously made clear, see State v. Toney, 2023-00961 (La. 1/10/24), 375 So.3d 963, the district court is ordered to rule on applicant's outstanding motion(s) and to supply him with copies of any requested court documents to which he is entitled of right or the requested cost estimates. See State ex rel. Simmons v. State, 93-0275 (La. 12/16/94), 647 So.2d 1094; see also R.S. 44:1, et seq. The district court is ordered to provide this Court with a copy of its ruling and associated cost estimates within 30 days.

I agree with the per curiam but would require the trial court to explain why it disregarded this court's express order in State v. Toney, 23-00961 (La. 1/10/24), 375 So. 3d 963.
