STATE OF LOUISIANA V. J.J.
I concur in the denial of the writ application, because J.J.’s 18-month probationary period ended on December 15, 2024. I write separately to point out that the provision in La. Ch.C. art. 909 that a court “may also terminate an order of disposition at any time while it is still in force” does not exempt a court from following the procedure provided in La. Ch.C. art. 910 prior to terminating a juvenile's disposition.
MCCALLUM, J., concurs and assigns reasons.
