X, § 5(a)(1) (“․ if a timely application for rehearing has been filed in the court of appeal in those instances where a rehearing is allowed, the application shall be made within thirty days of the mailing of the notice of denial of rehearing.”) (emphasis added); see also U.R.C.A. 2-18.7; State v. Crandell, 05-1060 (La. 3/10/06), 924 So.2d 122, 124 (30-day window not extended by application for rehearing in court of appeal because it was not an instance where a rehearing was allowed).
