Kendrick ROBINSON v. GOAUTO INSURANCE COMPANY
Writ application denied.
I would grant and docket this writ to give this Court the opportunity to provide guidance on how an insured party may properly assign his cause of action under La. R.S. 22:1973 for breach of the insurer's “duty of good faith and fair dealing” and duty “to make a reasonable effort to settle claims,” as well as the scope of such an assignment.
Crichton, J., would grant and docket and assigns reasons.
