IN RE: APPOINTMENT OF AD HOC JUDGE IN Teri A. DUPONT, et al. v. EXXON MOBIL CORPORATION, et al.
Writ application denied in part and granted in part.
Justice Hughes previously self-recused himself in this matter; therefore, the motion to recuse Justice Hughes filed by Defendants, Exxon Mobil Corporation and Exxon Mobil Pipeline Company, is denied as moot.
This Court's order of April 29, 2024 appointing Judge William Dupont is vacated and set aside. It is hereby ordered that Judge Durwood Conque shall be appointed as judge ad hoc to hear Defendants’ motion to recuse Judge Donald Johnson.
The stay issued by this Court on May 28, 2024 is recalled, and the matter is remanded to the trial court for further proceedings.
