ORDER
Considering the “Motion for Expedited Consideration of Certification and Consolidation with Related Case” filed by relators, Chesapeake Louisiana, L.P., and Chesapeake Operating, L.L.C.,
IT IS ORDERED THAT the motion be and hereby is denied. Because the question certified in this matter is virtually identical to the question we will consider in Self v. BPX Operating Co., 2023-CQ-1242, we will defer any consideration of the instant matter pending finality of our opinion in Self. Relators may request leave to file an amicus curiae brief in Self pursuant to the provisions of Louisiana Supreme Court Rule VII, § 12.
