Writ application denied.
I would grant the application and order an evidentiary hearing. The statement of Reva Young contains information that is clearly exculpating. Ms. Young, the detective who took her transcribed statement, and the information contained therein are not mentioned in the appellate opinion. It should be determined when and how applicant obtained the statement and whether it would have reduced the murder conviction to manslaughter.
