STATE OF LOUISIANA v. MELVIN CHRISTOPHER ONIDAS (2026)

WRIT DENIED

On September 2, 2026, Relator, Melvin Christopher Onidas (“Mr. Onidas”), filed a writ application with this Court through his attorney. Therein, Mr. Onidas sought supervisory review of the district court's July 6, 2026 judgment, which denied his “Motion for Request for Second Preliminary Examination” and “Motion for Reconsideration of Probable Cause Determination, Motion for Immediate Release, and Alternatively, Motion to Reduce Bond.” This Court denied that writ application. State v. Onidas, unpub., 2026-0630 (La. App. 4 Cir. 9/14/26). Now, in the above-captioned, pro se writ application that this Court received on September 18, 2026, Mr. Onidas fails to raise anything new and not already considered by this Court in his prior, counseled writ application. Accordingly, Mr. Onidas’ writ application is denied.
