STATE of Louisiana v. Travis BOYS
WRIT GRANTED; RELIEF DENIED; REMANDED WITH INSTRUCTIONS
Relator- Defendant, Travis Boys, seeks review of the district court's April 2, 2026 denial of his application for post-conviction relief. After consideration of the writ application, we grant Defendant's writ for a limited purpose and remand this matter to the trial court. The trial court is ordered to conduct an evidentiary hearing on the ineffective assistance of counsel claims asserted in Defendant's Application for Post-Conviction Relief. In all other aspects, the writ is denied.
