STATE of Louisiana v. Christopher AVIST
WRIT DENIED
The relator, Christopher Avist, seeks review of the trial court's August 4, 2026 judgment denying his notice to seek writs. Although relator has cited Brady v. Maryland and its progeny for the proposition that the state withheld exculpatory evidence, he points to no convincing evidence suggesting that his guilty pleas were somehow constitutionally infirm and/or involuntarily entered and that the court erred when it denied the application summarily. See La. C.Cr.P. art. 929(A). Accordingly, this writ is denied. See State v. Avist, 2022-00862 (La. 1/18/23), 353 So.3d 126.
