GIROD TITLING TRUST v. EDENBORNE DEVELOPMENT CO LLC LYON TOWNSHIP PROPERTIES LLC WJF LIMITED COMPANY WILLIAM CLARK WAYNE DEVELOPMENT CO LLC REGINALD WAYNE AND CIC DEVELOPMENT CO LLC (2026)

Girod REO, LLC filed an appeal challenging a May 27, 2025 judgment that granted a motion for separate appraisement and judicial sale of seized property filed by Lyon Township Properties, WJF Limited Company, and William G. Clark and ordered that the seized property be appraised and offered for judicial sale in four separate tracts, and then in globo, with the property to be sold in the manner that resulted in the highest amount. The parties have since filed a joint motion to dismiss the appeal.

Under Rule 2-8.3 of the Uniform Rules of the Courts of Appeal, this Court may summarily dismiss an appeal where all interested parties or their counsel of record have filed a joint motion to dismiss that sets forth the reason for the dismissal and that is supported by appropriate affidavits that the facts alleged in the motion are true and correct. See Marchand v. Texas Brine Company, LLC, 2018-1048 (La. App. 1 Cir. 2/22/19), 2019 WL 851170; Marchand v. Texas Brine Company LLC, 2018-1050 (La. App. 1 Cir. 2/22/19), 2019 WL 851172; and Marchand v. Texas Brine Company, LLC, 2018-1051 (La. App. 1 Cir. 2/22/19), 2019 WL 851072.

Based on the parties’ joint motion herein, which complies with URCA Rule 2-8.3, we dismiss the appeal. We need not address any outstanding motions related to this appeal.

APPEAL DISMISSED.
