N.S., Appellant-Respondent v. State of Indiana, Appellee-Petitioner
MEMORANDUM DECISION
[1] After being adjudicated a delinquent child, N.S. was placed in the Department of Correction (DOC). She appealed, challenging the trial court's placement decision. While the appeal was pending, however, N.S. turned 18 and was released from the DOC. As a result, we ordered her to show cause why her appeal shouldn't be dismissed as moot. See C.J. v. State, 74 N.E.3d 572 (Ind. Ct. App. 2017) (concluding Court could not render effective relief and appeal was moot after juvenile released from the DOC), trans. denied. N.S. didn't respond. We therefore dismiss the appeal.
[2] Dismissed.
Vaidik, Judge.
Altice, J., and Foley, J., concur.
