Pursuant to Idaho Appellate Rules 42(a) and 116, Colton Merrell petitions the Court of Appeals to rehear his case, and reconsider its decision in State v. Merrill, 2018 Opinion No. 11 (Ct. App. March 8, 2018) (the “Opinion”). Mr. Merrill asserts that the Court's Opinion should be reconsidered to correct a mischaracterization of Mr. Merrill's arguments, and to address the merits of the arguments he made.

A brief in support of this petition will be submitted within 14 days as required by I.A.R. 42(b).
