THE FLORIDA BAR, Complainant, v. WANDA BERNICE WHIGHAM, Respondent.
PUBLIC REPRIMAND
Wanda Bernice Whigham, the Supreme Court of Florida, by order dated August 14, 2025, approved the conditional guilty plea for consent judgment, and directed that you receive a public reprimand, administered in writing by the grievance committee chair.
You were found to be in violation of Rules 3-4.3 and 4-8.4(a) of the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar.
As a member of The Florida Bar, you have the responsibility to conform your professional and personal conduct to law and the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar no matter whether you are engaged in the practice of law or your own personal pursuits. As the debtor in a bankruptcy case, you had an obligation under the rules of the bankruptcy court to provide timely and complete financial information and your delayed disclosure of one of your bank accounts likely contributed to the adverse ruling you received from the bankruptcy court. You must refrain from engaging in conduct that runs afoul of Rules Regulating The Florida Bar. Your conduct in this instance was neither ideal nor consistent with the high standards expected of a member of the bar.
This reprimand is now part of your permanent Florida Bar disciplinary record. You are further advised that while this reprimand does not affect your privilege to practice law, future misconduct will. The lawyers of Florida expect your future conduct be in compliance with your oath and you should demand the same of yourself.
Heather Greenhill Stohlman, Chair Grievance Committee 15F
