Although not entirely clear from the petition, it appears pro se Petitioner is challenging Respondent's confinement of Petitioner to an area of the Monroe County Jail that is apart from the general jail population. Because resolution of the issues raised by pro se Petitioner, assuming they are legally cognizable, could very well require fact-finding, a task this Court is ill-equipped to handle, the Court transfers the petition to the Circuit Court for the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit. See Harvard v. Singletary, 733 So. 2d 1020, 1022 (Fla. 1999). The Court expresses no opinion as to whether pro se Petitioner's claims are legally cognizable, whether they have merit, or what remedies, if any, are available to Petitioner.
