By Order dated October 20, 2021, this Court appointed the trial court as Commissioner to hold a hearing for the purpose of determining, consistent with the requirements of Florida law, whether pro se Petitioner wished to discharge Petitioner's privately-retained counsel and, if so, whether Petitioner wished to proceed pro se or to be represented by appointed counsel.

Judge Mark H. Jones, as Commissioner, conducted a hearing and filed a Report, for which this Court expresses its gratitude. Upon consideration of that Report, and pro se Petitioner's representation that he does not wish to discharge his privately-retained counsel, and that he does not wish to proceed on his pro se Petition for Interlocutory Appeal (and that his privately-retained counsel does not wish to adopt that pro se Petition), the pro se Petition for Interlocutory Appeal is hereby dismissed.
