Dallas Allen YATES, Appellant(s)/Petitioner(s), v. State of Florida, DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAY SAFETY AND MOTOR VEHICLES, Appellee(s)/Respondent(s).
Pursuant to section 322.31, Florida Statutes, jurisdiction over this Petition for Writ of Certiorari is vested in the circuit court where the petitioner resides. Since neither the Petition nor its exhibits identify the residence of the petitioner, and the petitioner did not respond to this Court's February 26, 2021, Order to Show Cause, we do not know the petitioner's county of residence. Since it appears from the Petition and its exhibits that the petitioner was arrested in Monroe County, we transfer this Petition to the Circuit Court of Monroe County, without prejudice to the parties seeking to transfer this Petition to the appropriate circuit.
SCALES, LOBREE and BOKOR, JJ., concur.
