Christopher J. RAHAIM, Appellant/Petitioner(s), v. STATE of Florida, Appellee/Respondent(s).
Petitioner's petition for writ of mandamus is transferred to the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court for Pinellas County. Cf. e.g. Zito v. State, 990 So. 2d 1257 (Fla. 2d DCA 2008); Major v. Hallandale Beach Police Dep't. 219 So. 3d 856 (Fla. 4th DCA 2017).
The transfer of this case should not be construed as an adjudication or comment on the merits of the petition, nor as a determination that the transferee court has jurisdiction or that the petition has been properly denominated as a petition for writ of mandamus. The court acknowledges that similar proceedings may already be in process in the circuit court.
BY ORDER OF THE COURT:
SILBERMAN, BLACK, and SMITH, JJ., Concur.
