Disciplinary Counsel v. Christopher Uhl
ORDER
The Office of the Chief Disciplinary Counsel and the respondent in this action, Christopher M. Uhl, have entered into a partial agreement which provides for an adjudication as to Count Two of the instant presentment wherein the respondent is charged as an attorney convicted of a felony pursuant to section 2–41 of the Practice Book. Additionally, the parties agreed that a suspension is the appropriate sanction, which should be retroactive to July, 01, 2011 and which should end no sooner than June 1, 2014. Further, the parties agreed that the respondent should successfully complete the MPRE prior to the submission of an application for reinstatement. That agreement is hereby approved and adopted as an order of this court.
The parties do not have an agreement as to the date upon which reinstatement may be sought, and the section under which such application should be made.
After consideration of the arguments and requests of counsel; the nature and facts underlying the presentment; and the prior and revised rule for reinstatement (Practice Book Sec. 2–53) the Court orders that application for reinstatement shall not be made the later of the conclusion of the suspension period, or the termination of the respondent's federal probation period. Further, the Court orders that reinstatement should be made pursuant to the revised rule 2–53 and through the standing committee on recommendations.
