Julia Tsisin v. Chris Graves (2011)

MEMORANDUM OF DECISION

The plaintiff, Julia I. Tsisin brought this action for assault and battery and other torts against the defendant Christopher D. Graves.   The defendant, although he appeared, was defaulted.

The plaintiff as a result of the abuse by the defendant incurred economic damages in the amount of $3,159.93.   The court also finds that the plaintiff is entitled to non-economic damages in the amount of $300,000.   The court enters judgment in the amount of $303,159.93 plus taxable costs in the amount of $321.90.   Interest shall accrue at the rate of eight percent per annum on the unpaid balance.
