Nancy Moriber v. Stephen Feinstein et al.
MEMORANDUM OF DECISION
The plaintiff was a passenger on a motorcycle who was seriously injured in an accident with a motor vehicle. The defendant law firm, which has been defaulted, represented the plaintiff and the driver of the motor cycle without advising the plaintiff of the conflict of interest or of her right to sue the operator of the motor cycle.
The plaintiff is a young lady who suffered two herniated cervical discs; underwent 3 operative procedures; lost considerable time from her employment (at $3,000 per week) incurred almost $120,000 in medical bills; and has a 22% permanent disability of the neck.
A Judgment of $750,000 may enter in favor of the plaintiff against the defendant law firm.
