City of Stamford v. First National Joint Venture, LLC
CORRECTED RULING ON MOTION TO REARGUE AND/OR ALTER TERMS OF THE JUDGMENT
The City's motion to reargue is denied. The court declines to alter the judgment at this time. However, the court articulates what should be readily apparent to both sides, that the court found the value of the premises before the taking to be $8,250,000 less $77,800 or $8,172,200 and the value after the taking to be $7,290,000. It is also plainly obvious that the City will receive credit for the $170,000 already paid.
The court declines to alter the judgment further to include interest and expert fees in the absence of a motion for supplemental judgment and accompanying memorandum of law. Such motion shall be filed within two weeks. Any opposition shall be filed within one week thereafter.
