Town of Bozrah v. James Michalski, Jr.
MEMORANDUM OF DECISION RE MOTION FOR CONTEMPT
This case came to the court on a motion for contempt after an order of February 8, 2010, which appears of record.
The defendants are nonappearing, however, the defendant Lucia Michalski-Del'Ernia was present at the time of the court's order on February 8, 2010.
A hearing was held on the motion at which the plaintiffs were represented by counsel, presented evidence and exhibits and requested the relief set forth in the motion.
From the evidence, the court finds that the defendant Lucia Michalski-Del'Ernia had notice of the order of the court, that subsequent to the date of that order she knowingly occupied the same premises at 349 Salem Turnpike, Bozrah, Connecticut, on various dates in violation of said order.
The court finds said defendant in contempt of said order and orders the same defendant to pay to the plaintiff, Town of Bozrah, as attorneys fees the sum of $567, together with allowable costs within 30 days, and further orders that the said plaintiff give notice of this finding and order to the said defendant within 15 days in the manner prescribed for service of process.
