MEMORANDUM OF LAW RE MOTION TO DISMISS and OBJECTION THERETO
The summons in the above entitled matter was not signed by plaintiff's counsel. A number of Superior Court decisions have made the determination that the failure to comply with Section 8-1 of the Practice Book in such a manner have held that the court lacks personal jurisdiction, See Jelliff Mill, Inc. v. West Haven Lumber Co., judicial district of Stamford-Norwalk at Stamford 2007 Conn.Super. LEXIS 1034 (April 17, 2007, Adams, J.) [43 Conn. L. Rptr. 285]. Therefore, the Motion to Dismiss is granted.
