Jennifer A. Lipset v. Alan N. Lipset
MEMORANDUM OF DECISION de PLAINTIFF'S MOTION TO CLARIFY, POST-JUDGMENT (141)
While the case was pending the parties sold the marital home in August 2008. Quoting “Net proceeds of $600,000 allowed each party to take $150,000.” This distribution was allowed by the court. Since money is fungible this court in its decision made no effort to attempt to determine what either party did with the $150,000 after its receipt. The court declines any further clarification.
The court's order of equal division is based on the financial affidavits. The division is as of the judgment date.
The court declines to insert a comma after bonus. The meaning is clear.
The court did not address children's camp costs, etc. for, as stated by the court at the hearing on this motion “I do not micromanage children's activities.”
The court denies the four requests set out in the motion.
