Gilberto Diaz v. Enid Rivera
ORDER
The defendant, Enid Rivera, and the plaintiff, Gilberto Diaz, are respectively mother and father of a minor child, Mariah Diaz.
Effective July 5, 2010 the defendant shall have physical custody of the minor child. Both parties shall have joint legal custody of the minor child. The minor child shall live with the defendant at her New Britain, Connecticut home and shall attend the New Britain public school system.
The plaintiff shall have visitation with the minor child at his Bridgeport, Connecticut home during the months of July and August after the conclusion of and prior to the start of the minor child's school year. During the months of July and August, the defendant shall have visitation with the minor child at her New Britain, Connecticut home every other weekend commencing the weekend of Friday, July 9, 2010 through Sunday, July 11, 2010.
At the start of the minor child's school year, the plaintiff shall have visitation with the minor child at his Bridgeport, Connecticut home every other weekend commencing the weekend of Friday, September 3, 2010 through Sunday, September 5, 2010. Because of the work schedules of the parties, they shall agree upon the specific times and responsibility for travel to and from New Britain and Bridgeport.
The parties shall share access during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday. The plaintiff shall have at least one week of visitation at his Bridgeport, Connecticut home during the February or May break.
If these schedules cannot be agreed upon, the parties shall return to the Court who will then set more specific and definitive rules. The Court is satisfied that these rules are in the best interest of the minor child. The Court has also considered the age and preferences of the minor child.
