DECISION AFTER HEARINGS IN DAMAGES

After examining the plaintiffs' exhibits, the court concludes that fair and equitable awards in these two consolidated cases are:

As to Jyhel Barno, $75,000

As to Mekhi Barno, $100,000

As to Rashida Barno, $20,000

Liability is apportioned between the two defendants, with Ben-Elohi Zephanniah liable for 75% of said awards and Moises Regueiro liable for 25% of the awards.

Therefore in case number CV 08-5022777, vs.   Ben-Elohi Zephanniah, Judgment may enter for the plaintiff:

Jyhel Barno in the amount of:  $56,250,

for Mekhi Barno in the amount of $112,500,

and Rashida Barno in the amount of $15,000.

In case number CV 08-5023386, vs.   Moises Regueiro, Judgment may enter for the plaintiff:

Jyhel Barno in the amount of $18,750,

for Mekhi Barno in the amount of $37,500,

and Rashida Barno in the amount of $5,000.

The plaintiffs are awarded taxable costs and postjudgment interest.
