Imani Lakeista COOK, Appellant, v. The STATE of Nevada, Respondent.
ORDER OF AFFIRMANCE
Imani Lakeista Cook appeals from an order of the district court denying a postconviction petition for a writ of habeas corpus filed on May 27, 2020. Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County; Michael Villani, Judge.
Cook filed her petition more than two years after entry of the judgment of conviction on October 11, 2017.1 Thus, her petition was untimely filed. See NRS 34.726(1). Cook's petition was procedurally barred absent a demonstration of good cause—cause for the delay and undue prejudice. See id. Cook did not claim she had good cause to excuse the procedural time bar. We therefore conclude the district court did not err by denying Cook's petition, and we
ORDER the judgment of the district court AFFIRMED.
FOOTNOTES
1. Cook did not appeal her conviction.
