Erick Marquis BROWN, Petitioner, v. DIRECTOR, NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS, Respondent.
ORDER DENYING PETITION
In this petition for extraordinary relief, Erick Marquis Brown seeks an order directing the Eighth District Court Clerk to file Brown's petition for a writ of prohibition in his criminal case instead of docketing it as a new, civil case. We have considered the petition, and we are not satisfied this court's intervention by way of extraordinary writ is warranted. See NRS 34.160; NRS 34.170; NRS 34.320; NRS 34.330; NRS 34.020; NRAP 21(4) (requiring appendix to include all documents essential to understanding the matters in the petition); Pan v. Eighth Judicial Dist. Court, 120 Nev. 222, 228, 88 P.3d 840, 844 (2004) (“Petitioned[ ] carr[ies] the burden of demonstrating that extraordinary relief is warranted.”). Accordingly, without deciding upon the merits of any claims raised, we
ORDER the petition DENIED.
