Delbert Roy DOUGLAS, Appellant, v. NDOC DIRECTOR; and ESP Warden, Respondents.
ORDER OF AFFIRMANCE
Delbert Roy Douglas appeals from a district court order dismissing a postconviction petition for a writ of habeas corpus filed on June 4, 2019. Seventh Judicial District Court, White Pine County; Steve L. Dobrescu, Judge.
Douglas claimed his due process rights were violated during a prison disciplinary hearing and he sought the dismissal of his disciplinary sanctions and the restoration of his good-time credits. The district court found that Douglas's challenges to a prison transfer or administrative segregation were not cognizable in a petition for a writ of habeas corpus because they were challenges to the conditions of confinement and not challenges to the validity of the confinement itself. And the district court further found that Douglas failed to demonstrate he suffered an actual loss of statutory good-time credits. The district court's findings are supported by the record on appeal, and we conclude the district court did not err by dismissing Douglas's petition for a writ of habeas corpus. See NRS 34.720; Bowen v. Warden, 100 Nev. 489, 490, 686 P.2d 250, 250 (1984). Accordingly, we
ORDER the judgment of the district court AFFIRMED.
