ERIC LEE ADKINS, Appellant, v. NATIONSTAR MORTGAGE LLC, Respondent.
ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This is a pro se appeal from a district court order denying a petition for judicial review. Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County; Jerry A. Wiese, Judge.
On May 23, 2025, a notice was issued that directed appellant to file and serve by September 22, 2025, either (1) a brief that complies with the requirements in NRAP 28(a) and NRAP 32, or (2) the “Informal Brief Form for Pro Se Parties” which is available on the Nevada Supreme Court website. See NRAP 28(k). Appellant attempted to file an opening brief on September 22, 2025, however it was stricken as deficient and appellant was ordered to file a corrected opening brief by October 8, 2025.
When appellant failed to file the corrected opening brief this court issued an order on October 10, 2025, directing appellant to file and serve the corrected opening brief by October 17, 2025. The order cautioned appellant that failure to timely file the brief may result in the dismissal of this appeal. NRAP 31(d). To date, appellant has failed to file the corrected opening brief or otherwise communicate with this court. Accordingly, it appears that appellant has abandoned this appeal and this court
ORDERS this appeal DISMISSED.
