ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE

Upon consideration of the Petition for Order to Show Cause Pursuant to C.A.R. 21 filed in the above entitled action and matter, and being sufficiently advised in the premises,

IT IS ORDERED that an Order to Show Cause issue out of this court. Therefore, Respondents, People of the State of Colorado by and through the People of the City of Westminster and City of Westminster Municipal Court are directed to answer, in writing, on or before November 14, 2024, why the relief requested in the petition should not be granted.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Petitioner, Aleah Michelle Camp, has 21 days from receipt of the answer within which to reply.

Pursuant to C.A.R. 21(f)(2), all further proceedings are stayed until further order of this court.

IT IS ORDERED that the Court invites the following organizations to file an Amicus in this matter:

Colorado Attorney General's Office

Colorado Municipal League

Colorado Criminal Defense Bar

Pursuant to C.A.R. 29 any Amicus Brief is due within the time allotted the party to whose position it supports.
