The “Motion to Withdraw as Counsel of Record,” filed by counsel for defendant on June 16, 2022, is granted.
Review in the above-captioned matter, which was granted and held for People v. Strong (2022) 13 Cal.5th 698, 296 Cal.Rptr.3d 686, 514 P.3d 265, is hereby dismissed. (Cal. Rules of Court, rule 8.528(b)(1).) As specified by rule 8.1115(e)(2) of the California Rules of Court, pursuant to this order, the Court of Appeal's opinion, filed January 3, 2022, which appears at 73 Cal.App.5th 562, 288 Cal.Rptr.3d 496, is noncitable and nonprecedential “to the extent it is inconsistent with” our decision in Strong.
The request to appoint new counsel on the appeal is denied as moot.
Corrigan, J., was absent and did not participate. Votes: Cantil-Sakauye, C.J., Liu, Kruger, Groban, Jenkins and Guerrero, JJ.
