IN RE: RESPONDENT T. on Discipline.
Chief Trial Counsel's petition for writ of review is granted. In lieu of issuance of a writ of review, the matter is remanded to the State Bar Court with directions to vacate its opinion and reconsider whether there is a conviction for the limited purpose of determining whether Respondent T. should be placed on interim suspension. (Business & Professions Code § 6102(a).) It appears criminal proceedings were suspended pursuant to Penal Code § 270b prior to the entry of an order granting probation or other disposition appealable under Penal Code § 1466, and there is no final judgment for purposes of entry of a disciplinary order. (Business & Professions Code § 6102(d); Calif.Rules of Court, rule 951(a).)
LUCAS, C.J., and Kennard, Arabian, George, and Werdegar, JJ., concur.
